Pumpkin Chai Hot Chocolate Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 oz dairy-free or regular dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 6 oz Chimayo Chai, freshly brewed
  • 1 cup almond or whole milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch + 1 tsp water in a small bowl, mixed (optional)

Pumpkin Chai Hot Chocolate Preparation Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, add all the ingredients along with the cornstarch mixture if a thicker consistency is desired.
  2. Stir constantly and bring to a simmer. Remove from the heat, and serve immediately.
  3. Garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
