Pumpkin Chai Hot Chocolate Ingredients
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 1/2 oz dairy-free or regular dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 6 oz Chimayo Chai, freshly brewed
- 1 cup almond or whole milk
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch + 1 tsp water in a small bowl, mixed (optional)
Pumpkin Chai Hot Chocolate Preparation Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add all the ingredients along with the cornstarch mixture if a thicker consistency is desired.
- Stir constantly and bring to a simmer. Remove from the heat, and serve immediately.
- Garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
