
This cozy carrot cake inspired latte is perfect for Easter, or whenever you're in the mood to whip up a fun drink!
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Masala Chai tea
- 6 oz boiling water
- Ice cubes
For the carrot milk:
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 3 cups filtered water
Toppings:
- Heavy whipping cream (or dairy-free whipping cream)
- 1 tsp carrot cake milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- Ground cinnamon
Preparation instructions
- Steep tea according to package instructions, cool completely.
- Place milk ingredients into a milk maker and blend until smooth.
- Whip heavy cream with maple syrup and carrot cake milk with a hand milk frother.
- Place ice cubes into a glass.
- Add chai-brewed tea over ice and pour in carrot cake milk.
- Topped with whipped heavy cream and a dusting of cinnamon.
