Chai Carrot Cake Latte

This cozy carrot cake inspired latte is perfect for Easter, or whenever you're in the mood to whip up a fun drink!

Ingredients

For the carrot milk:

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • Pinch of salt 
  • 3 cups filtered water

Toppings:

  • Heavy whipping cream (or dairy-free whipping cream)
  • 1 tsp carrot cake milk
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • Ground cinnamon 

Preparation instructions

  • Steep tea according to package instructions, cool completely. 
  • Place milk ingredients into a milk maker and blend until smooth. 
  • Whip heavy cream with maple syrup and carrot cake milk with a hand milk frother.
  • Place ice cubes into a glass.
  • Add chai-brewed tea over ice and pour in carrot cake milk.
  • Topped with whipped heavy cream and a dusting of cinnamon.
