Pomegranate Mate

Pomegranate Mate is a delicious blend of green yerba mate, pomegranate, apple, and coriander, with a touch of dates for sweetness and beetroot for color. This tea brews up a beautiful ruby red color! Mate is stimulating drink is a traditional beverage of many parts of Latin America. While mate is an herbal infusion, unlike most herbal teas, it does contain caffeine.

Cups Per Package

This luxury loose leaf tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 3.5 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 40 cups of tea. Our 7 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 80 cups.

How To Brew Pomegranate Mate

Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until steaming briskly (not boiling). Steep for 5 to 7 minutes.

We recommend using a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These brewing methods give the tea leaves enough room to expand as the tea steeps, resulting in a more flavorful cup.
