Sencha Sayama Kaori Green Tea
Sencha Sayama Kaori Green Tea
A premium single-origin sencha sourced from Shizuoka, Japan, Sencha Sayama Kaori is bright, floral, and grassy, with umami notes and a medium astringency. The Sayama Kaori cultivar is known for its thick leaves, which help it to better tolerate frost. This tea is a great example of a lightly steamed Asamushi sencha.

How to Brew Sencha Sayama Kaori
Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until steaming briskly but not boiling, approximately 180 degrees. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes. For best taste, do not over steep.
We recommend preparing this tea using a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These brewing methods give the tea leaves enough room to expand as the tea steeps, resulting in a richer, more flavorful cup.
