Our Sandia Sangria Oolong is a fruity sangria-inspired blend with hints of watermelon, lemon, and orange. This tea is named after New Mexico's Sandia mountains—sandia means "watermelon" in Spanish, which is what these mountains are said to look like when they glow red at sunset. Sandia Sangria is delicious hot and also makes an excellent iced tea!

Cups Per Package

This tea is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 4 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 40 cups of tea. Our 8 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 80 cups.

Ingredients

Oolong tea, papaya and apple pieces, organic orange & lemon peels, hibiscus, elderberries, rosehip peels, mistletoe, cinnamon, plum and safflower petals, celery seed oil, cloves, organic compliant natural flavor.

Tasting Notes

Fruity and juicy, with notes of watermelon and papaya and a hint of spice.

How To Brew Sandia Sangria Oolong

Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until briskly steaming (not boiling). Steep for three minutes. This tea may be infused several times.

We recommend using a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These brewing methods give the tea leaves enough room to expand as the tea steeps, resulting in a more flavorful cup.

Sandia Sangria Caffeine Content

Sandia Sangria is low in caffeine.

Sandia Sangria Oolong Benefits

Love this tea!

This is my favorite caffeinated tea from Artful Tea. Fruity, and you can definitely taste the watermelon notes. Not a heavy tea. As someone who drinks whole pots of tea daily, I brew a pot of this almost every day. Haven't tried it iced yet, but I can see where that would be equally delicious.
