Black Tea Granola Cookies

It’s super simple to whip up a batch of these tasty granola cookies. Enjoy them with a cup of tea or take them on the go!

Black Tea Granola Cookies


  • 1/4 cup vegan unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pecan butter
  • 1 flaxseed egg (1 tbsp flaxseed and 3 tbsp water)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground Midnight Rose black tea
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


    1. Mix the flour, oats, tea, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, set aside.
    2. In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, pecan butter, flaxseed egg, water and vanilla.
    3. Incorporate the flour mixture into this. Stir in the raisins, pecans and chocolate chips.
    4. Shape the cookies using a cookie cutter and place on a baking sheet.
    5. Bake at 350F for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
    6. Let them cool completely. If desired, decorate the cookies with melted chocolate and dry rose petals from Midnight Rose tea.
